Community input events on environmental justice scheduled in Lompoc

City of Lompoc

LOMPOC, Calif. – As part of the City of Lompoc's first Environmental Justice General Plan, two community input events are scheduled to gather responses from the public.

A market pop-up event is scheduled at Lompoc Outdoor Community Market between 9 a.m. and noon on Jan. 21.

A community workshop will also be held at Lompoc High School Cafeteria starting at 6 p.m. on Jan. 30. Spanish translation and light snacks will be provided at the event.

These events are intended to provide information about environmental justice and to receive feedback from the community according to the city.

Questions about these upcoming events or about the city's Environmental Justice General Plan Element can be sent to Lompoc Planning Manager Brian Halvorson at 805-875-8228 or by email at b_halvorson@ci.lompoc.ca.us.
