Santa Maria police searching for suspect in multiple hit-and-runs

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Maria Police Department is asking for the public's help to find the driver of a vehicle that was involved in multiple hit-and-runs.

The crashes happened on Tuesday, police said.

As police responded for a report of one hit-and-run, the same suspect vehicle was involved additional crashes in different locations in the city.

The vehicle was captured on security footage which was shared by the police department.

The vehicle appears to be a silver sedan with significant front end damage.
