ARISE 5K benefits Bethel House treatment facility for women

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-Plenty of people took part in the  annual ARISE 5K Walk and Run over the weekend.

The nonprofit created by Mary Hudson is a benefit run.

This year participants raised money for the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission Bethel House.

It is a faith-based treatment facility is designed to help women.

People of all ages walked and ran at Chase Palm Park on Saturday.
