Seek Thermal kicks off Putting for Paws charity for Santa Barbara Humane

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Seek Thermal is conducting its annual Team Building event to help a local nonprofit organization.

The company chose “Putting for Paws” as the theme to help support Santa Barbara Humane this year

"After Covid we really needed to engage our workforce so we opted to do an annual fundraiser charity team event," said vice president of human resources Debbie Horne of Seek Thermal.

This year’s event included nine teams, each tasked with building a miniature golf hole, utilizing pet supplies, food, toys and other items.

Putting for Paws will include several furry friends from Santa Barbara Humane to share in the excitement.

"As a local nonprofit Santa Barbara Humane has hit a hole-in-one today working with Seek Thermal. This is fantastic. It’s a team building exercise it’s fun and they’re donating back to the animals and the people who love them in this community," said CEO Kerri Burns of Santa Barbara Humane.

Directors at Seek Thermal hope this team building charity will help bring awareness to all the services Santa Barbara Humane has to offer.

"We opted to bring the whole company together, even our remote workers, and really to get to know each other better the camaraderie while doing good for the community," said Horne.
