Highway Patrol investigating woman’s body discovered near Highway 101 on-ramp

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The body of an unidentified woman was found on the northbound Highway 101 Milpas Street on-ramp Wednesday night.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) details that officers responded to a call for a deceased person near the Highway on-ramp around 6:14 p.m Wednesday evening and now, an investigation into her demise is ongoing.

According to CHP, Santa Barbara County Fire Department personnel confirmed the woman's status at the scene.
