Light Up A Life Ceremonies still on despite forecast for rain

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – Hospice of Santa Barbara's Light Up A Life Ceremonies in Carpinteria and Goleta this weekend are proceeding regardless of the weather according to Hospice of Santa Barbara.

Both ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and are free to attend.

The ceremony in Carpinteria on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Seal Fountain has the potential for rain. Participants are cautioned to dress for the occasion and bring umbrellas and rain boots just in case.

The Sunday, Dec. 11 ceremony in Goleta at the Camino Real Marketplace near the cinema expects clear skies.
