Two dogs rescued from cliff at Hope Ranch Beach in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Santa Barbara County firefighters performed a technical rescue on Saturday to save two dogs who were stuck on a cliff at a Santa Barbara beach.
Crews were dispatched to Hope Ranch Beach around 6 p.m. for the rescue.
There they found two dogs stuck 30 feet down a cliff just east of the beach.
Firefighters used a high-angle rope system to reach the dogs and successfully carry them to safety.
The dogs were happily reunited with their owner.
