Fire teams on the scene of 100-acre vegetation fire northeast of Huasna Friday

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Fire crews are on the scene of a 100-acre vegetation fire near Caldwell Mesa Road and Forest Route 310S04, northeast of Huasna.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, a dozer line has been established around the fire's perimeter, but containment remains at zero percent as of 5 p.m. Friday.

Around 11:37 a.m., fire teams were dispatched to the fire spotted in the remote setting by area cameras explained the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department.

The response included personnel from the Los Padres National Forest and previous dozer lines in the area helped to hold the flames at bay as crews headed to the scene added the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department.
