Fire crews responded to four-acre wildland fire north of Shandon

San Luis Obispo County Fire Department

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Firefighters are on the scene of a four-acre wildland fire near the 3000 block of McMillan Canyon Road north of Shandon and west of Cholame.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department, forward progress of the flames was halted around 12:30 p.m. and no structures are were threatened during the response.

The San Luis Obispo County Fire Department gave a special shout out to the work of Copter 527 shown in the image below at the scene.
