Wildland fire hits San Miguel

SAN MIGUEL, Calif. – Cal Fire SLO crews are currently fighting a wildland fire near the 9000 block of N. River Rd. in San Miguel.

The fire has reached two to three acres in the riverbed and one structure is threatened, according to Cal Fire SLO.

Forward progress of the flames stopped at 9:31 p.m. and was under control by 10:37 p.m. at 1.62 acres, detailed Cal Fire SLO.

The cause of the fire that started around 8:45 p.m. is still under investigation.
