Pedestrian hit on Highway 101 in Paso Robles Monday evening

PASO ROBLES, Calif. – A pedestrian was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 101 Monday evening.

The driver of the vehicle had no injuries and the passenger reported minor injuries, but both declined medical aid at the scene detail California Highway Patrol-Templeton Area (CHP).

On Feb. 26, 2024, around 6:40 p.m. a 2005 Nissan sedan was traveling northbound on Highway 101 just south of Highway 46 when a pedestrian was in the lanes of traffic and was hit by the sedan state CHP.

According to CHP, the 40-year-old pedestrian was transported via ambulance to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
