Fire crews responding to ten-acre vegetation fire east of Templeton Monday afternoon

TEMPLETON, Calif. – San Luis Obispo County Fire Department is responding to an approximately ten-acre vegetation fire on Almond Drive east of Templeton Monday afternoon.

Forward progress of the fire was stopped around 1:24 p.m. and firefighters will remain on the scene for the next two hours detail San Luis Obispo County Fire Department.

According to Cal Fire San Luis Obispo County, air response aircraft are assisting fire crews on the ground that have successfully mitigated the risk to a threatened nearby structure.
