San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office release identities of couple stabbed Sunday evening

SHANDON, Calif. – San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office has released the names of two Shandon residents that were stabbed Sunday evening.

Kelly Jean Buchanan and William Louis Buchanan, both of Shandon were stabbed multiple times by a 31-year-old Shandon man arrested Monday morning released San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.

Kelly Buchanan died from her injuries at the scene and William Buchanan was airlifted to a hospital where he remains in stable condition detail San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.

According to San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office, the 31-year-old arrested Monday morning was living with the Buchanans at the time of the stabbings.
