County of San Luis Obispo Office of Emergency Services

TEMPLETON, Calif. – A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open Tuesday, Jun. 27 at the Templeton Community Center at 601 Main St. to help residents impacted by storms in February and March of this year.

The Center will be open Tuesday, Jun. 27 through Saturday, Jul. 1 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Residents that experienced damage to their homes or businesses can get help applying for federal assistance and disaster loans, update applications, and learn about other available resources.

Spanish and American Sign Language interpreter services will be present at the Center.

This DRC, like others in the surrounding area, is a partnership amongst the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), and the County of San Luis Obispo.

You can apply online for assistance at disasterassistance.gov or use the FEMA mobile app or call 1-800-621-3362. That assistance line is open every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. eastern time.

If you have more questions, you can also call the San Luis Obispo County Office of Emergency Services at 805-781-5678.
