San Luis Obispo City Fire extinguishes vegetation fire near cemetery on Higuera Street

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – San Luis Obispo City Fire Department put out a 20 foot by 20 foot vegetation fire behind the cemetery at 2 Higuera St. Sunday afternoon.

The fire started in a homeless encampment according to SLO City Fire. No injuries were reported.

Fire crews are completing mop-up procedures to make sure all potential hot spots are fully out.
