Officers arrest 28-year-old man in connection to multiple vehicle thefts in Arroyo Grande

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. – Officers arrested a 28-year-old man in connection to multiple thefts from vehicles reported since Dec. 2, according to the Arroyo Grande Police Department.

The department said officers served an arrest and search warrant for the man in a residence on the 700-block of Dodson Way in Arroyo Grande.

As a result, the department said officers found stolen property, narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested the man on a felony charge of being in possession of stolen property, felony charges of burglary, and vandalism.

The 28-year-old was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail. The Arroyo Grande Police Department said residents are encouraged to contact the department if they suspect their property was stolen between the dates of Dec. 2, 2022, and Jan. 18, 2023.

If anyone suspects that their property may be in the custody of the Arroyo Grande Police Department, the department said to please inquire with Property and Evidence Clerk T. Little at 805-473-5117.
