New records for daily rainfall set in Camarillo and Paso Robles on Jan. 14

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office in Los Angeles has issued a record event report which includes two new records for daily rainfall in Camarillo and Paso Robles.

The new record rainfall of 1.43 inches was set at Camarillo Airport breaking the previous record of 1.03 inches set in 1990.

A new record daily rainfall was also recorded at Paso Robles Airport yesterday. The 1.13 inches on Jan. 14 broke the previous record of 1.1 inches set in 1978.

These new records underscore the significant rainfall that impacted the region and have now set new benchmarks for area rainfall.
