Orcutt Road at Righetti Road in SLO closes amid threat to structure
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif.– California Highway Patrol San Luis Obispo has closed Orcutt Road at Righetti Road as it is structure begins to collapse due to the recent rainstorm and continued traffic driving atop the road.
CHP urges drivers to use State Route 227 at Broad Street and Biddle Ranch as an alternative route in the meantime. The roadway is likely to get worse with more rain on the way, so it is unclear when the road will reopen.
