Locals react to high surf and rain on the Central Coast

PISMO BEACH, Calif.- The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory for beaches in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties in effect now through 6:00a.m. Thursday.

Waves as high are 22-feet are expected, according to the National Weather Service.

The advisory warns against large breaking waves, dangerously strong currents, and flooding.

Sea water flooding may happen in parking lots and walkways near the ocean.

Structure damage is not expected.
