Airlift used for injured biker at Los Padres National Forest Saturday afternoon

LOS PADRES NATIONAL FOREST, Calif. – The Montecito Fire Department helped an injured mountain biker at the Los Padres National Fores just past 12:30 pm Saturday.

The 59-year-old male biker suffered unknown injuries as the sole patient in the incident and a helicopter helped him to the hospital, according to the MFD.

The biker fell 150 feet off the side of Romero Canyon and crews helped him off the trail via airlift, detailed the MFD.
