Public meeting on redistricting in San Luis Obispo County

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - The public is invited to talk about the redistricting process in San Luis Obispo County. A special meeting has been called by the Board of Supervisors on a topic that has been complicated and controversial in the county. The Board is considering creating a special redistricting committee, and wants to hear public opinion on the matter.

The meeting is Tuesday, January 16th at 6 p.m. at the Katcho Achadjian Government Center located at 1055 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo.

News Channel 3-12 spoke with Jeanette Trompeter from San Luis Obispo County about the meeting and the process of redistricting, which won't happen again until after the 2030 census. More information is available here.
