Halloween Pop-Up Brings New Life to Vacant Santa Barbara Storefront

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — A vacant storefront on Cliff Drive has taken on a new role for the Halloween season.

Spirit Halloween has opened inside the former Rite Aid, filling the large retail space on a temporary basis.

The seasonal operation brings activity back to a property that had been sitting empty.

Costumes, decorations and large displays now fill the building as Halloween approaches.

The location also reflects a wider retail pattern in which seasonal businesses temporarily occupy unused commercial properties.
