Tracking morning clouds & pm heat Wednesday

We start Wednesday morning with some clouds in Santa Barbara before a slower clearing trend occurs. Today will be a toasty day for all as high pressure hangs around the area. A Beach Hazard Statement is in effect through the afternoon for the Santa Barbara coastline down into Ventura and LA counties as well. These are areas where lingering surf impacts are expected. Air on the side of caution when headed out! Winds will be breezy and more sundowners are expected, not quite up to advisory levels.

More rinse and repeat weather Thursday. Clearing skies, breezy afternoon winds and toasty temperatures. This is the first safe day to head to the beaches, so take advantage while you can!

We warm further Friday into the weekend. temperatures soar into the 90s and triple digits for many. Some heat alerts may be needed.
