Former President of Camarillo Girls Softball Association Paul Gallo Arrested for Allegedly Embezzling Several Thousand Dollars

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Paul Gallo, a 59-year-old Thousand Oaks resident, was arrested this week in connection with alleged embezzlement from the Camarillo Girls Softball Association.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a call about possible embezzlement regarding a former president of the Camarillo Girls Softball Association.

The alleged embezzlement involved the use of the group's funds for personal purchases, resulting in losses for the community group of several thousand dollars detailed the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives took over the investigation into the claims and on Sep. 15, arrested the 59-year-old former president for grand theft shared the local law enforcement agency.

Gallo was booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility and was later released after posting his $10,000 bail noted the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
