KEYT

SANTA BARBRA COUNTY, Calif. - Temperatures will be mild near the coast Wednesday with stronger onshore flow.

Marine clouds are expected to linger and may stick around into the afternoon.

Inland areas will remain hot from the upper 80s to beyond 100 degrees with heat alerts extended through Saturday for some valley and mountain areas.

High pressure moves west slightly Friday so temperatures will warm up by a few degrees through Saturday.

Humidity is expected to increase over the weekend as well with a monsoonal push from the east.

Slight cooling will follow next week.
