Fiesta celebration is closing in on its 100th year

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.— The grassy lawn outside of the Old Mission in Santa Barbara was an explosion of color, as thousands of families set up blankets and chairs in preparation of Fiesta Pequeña.

This Old Spanish Days tradition kicks off the rest of the Fiesta celebrations.

We spoke to David Bolton, El Presidente, about the significance of this nearly century long cultural tradition.
