VENTURA, Calif. -- Ventura police arrested a man who they say repeatedly trespassed on a school campus with intent to lure a child to commit "sexual acts."

Ventura police arrested a 29-year-old Ventura man for child luring with the intent to commit sexual acts.

The Ventura man first came onto the Ventura High Campus on November 16, he was contacted by school staff and was told that he was on campus illegally and to not return while school was in session.

On November 23, he returned to campus and was contacted by school staff again. He then fled the scene before being contacted by police. The suspect came back later that day and conversed with students before being arrested by the School Resource Officer for trespassing.

On Wednesday, the suspect came back to the campus again and was seen by school staff having inappropriate conversations with students. Ventura Police arrived on scene but the suspect fled the scene.

He was later found and arrested. He was booked into Ventura County Jail.
