Good Samaritan to open warming center as storm and cold weather moves on Central Coast

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – Good Samaritan Shelter is opening a warming center Thursday night.

The focus is on people who are need of shelter, as the rain moved through nights are getting colder on the Central Coast.

It opens at 6 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Santa Maria.

There are other warming centers across the Central Coast, that includes the 5 Cities Homeless Coalition.

Some shelters include in Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Oceano and more.
