LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say a landlord argued with his live-in tenants over unpaid rent before opening fire with a gun in a small house near downtown Las Vegas, killing two women and shooting a man nine times but he survived. Authorities identified the suspect arrested at the home as 78-year-old Arnoldo Lozano-Sanchez. The identities of the two dead women and wounded man weren’t immediately made public. The wounded man remains hospitalized. Police Lt. Ray Spencer said Tuesday that authorities had no immediate information about whether the rent dispute had any connection with a nationwide coronavirus pandemic eviction moratorium that expired last week and was then partially reinstated.
