MAMMOTH LAKES, Calif. - A well known Paso Robles winery is taking wine tasting to new heights, opening a tasting room on Mammoth Mountain.

DAOU Vineyards will open the new DAOU Lounge inside McCoy Station on Saturday.

Guests can ride the gondola halfway up Mammoth Mountain and stop off in the lounge for a glass of Central Coast wine.

A grand opening celebration will be held Saturday with complimentary wine tasting.

The lounge will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and offer wine tasting, glasses of wine, and Mediterranean appetizers.

DAOU's Central Coast tasting room is located at 2777 Hidden Mountain Road in Paso Robles.
