Fatal crash leaves one dead, traffic affected in Paso Robles

PASO ROBLES, Calif. -- A fatal car crash leaves one dead in Paso Robles Monday morning.

Paso Robles Police Department received a report of a traffic collision with injuries on Highway 46 and Buena Vista.

Police units arrived on scene and located two involved vehicles.

One was a gray 2002 Buick and the other was a red 2001 Ford Ranger.

The driver of the Buick was and 83-year-old male from Coronado. He was found dead inside his vehicle.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor to this crash.

Police are withholding the names of the parties involved at this time.

Traffic on Highway 46 was affected for about two hours during the clearing of the scene.
