San Miguel man arrested on suspicion of child molestation
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office arrested a San Miguel man on suspicion of child molestation.
On Saturday, sheriff’s detectives began investigating a report of child molestation. Investigators arrested David Avis Vance, 54, of San Miguel as part of the investigation.
Vance faces charges for sexual penetration with a foreign object with a child under the age of 14.
The location of where the incident took place is being withheld to protect the victim and family, the sheriff’s office said.
The investigation is ongoing.
