UCSB Softball swept by Cal State Fullerton

Looking to turn things around after losing both games of Saturday’s doubleheader, UC Santa Barbara Softball again came up just short at home.

Cal State Fullerton hung on for a 3-1 win on Sunday to complete a three game sweep over the Gauchos.

UCSB (6-28, 0-3 Big West) has now lost 12 straight games. Teah Thies ‘ third inning sac fly plated the only Gauchos run of the game.

Alexa Neil homered for Fullerton (23-13, 3-0).

After a few days off, the Gauchos return home Saturday for a doubleheader against UC Davis.
