Oxnard man arrested for DUI, drug possession, and loaded firearm

An Oxnard man is facing multiple charges after he was arrested for DUI, cocaine possession, and for having a loaded rifle with a high capacity magazine inside his car.

According to the Oxnard Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Oxnard Boulevard just after 8:00 p.m. Sunday. The driver, 26-year-old Onorio Borquez was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. Borquez was also found to be in possession of cocaine and had a .22 caliber rifle with a high capacity magazine also in the vehicle.

Borquez was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and for being in possession of a loaded firearm and narcotics, a felony.
