Batsheva Lavowe-Stoll is the External Vice President for Local Affairs,

She said, ” I knew that there has been a lot of issues this year and past month despite that I feel like everyone is going to come together this year.”

District president Ethan Bertrand said they did a survey and plan to remind people of the noise ordinance and other safety measures.

“The biggest thing we are hearing is about the number of law enforcement personal out here on the weekends, but we at the CSD are committed to find a balance where community members really know that law enforcement and first responders are here to protect them so they don’t feel uncomfortable,” said Bertrand.

If all goes well Deltopia will earn a new reputation.

Lavowe-Stoll said, “I see it as a celebration of Isla Vista and a sunny Saturday back from Spring Break, I want everyone to know it is not this crazy moment, but a place to experience and uplift the community and have a good day.”

This years Deltopia will be held the weekend after Easter on April 7th and 8th.
