Lompoc gang members arrested for attempted murder
Three gang members in their late teens were arrested and now facing attempted murder charges related to a shooting in the City of Lompoc that occurred on May 18.
While Lompoc police investigated the shooting in the 1200 block of W. College Avenue, they located the victim at the Lompoc hospital being treated for a gunshot wound to the back.
The Lompoc Police Department said it was during that investigation that their shooting suspect emerged as 19-year-old Isaiah Adams. Two other individuals identified as 18-year-old Alfonso Roa and 18-year-old Miguel Gonzalez, were with Adams at the time of the shooting, according to police.
Police say all three have ties to a local street gang. They were arrested when police served search warrants at three different homes.
Two firearms and ammunition were found during a search of these homes.
The police department said a fourth person was arrested during the execution of the search warrants on crimes not related to this investigation.
Adams, Roa and Gonzalez were booked into Lompoc County Jail for attempted murder.
