Bishop Diego’s run in the baseball postsesaon ends in the semifinals
Faith Baptist scored four runs in the third inning and the top seed went on to shutout Bishop Diego 5-0 in a CIF-SS division 7 semifinal game.
The Cardinals were making just their second-ever semifinal appearance in baseball. Bishop Diego made good contact with the ball but managed just five hits in the game.
Bishop Diego finishes the year 12-13 but had an exciting playoff run.
