Blush restaurant and lounge going through changes

Blush restaurant and lounge in downtown Santa Barbara has gone dark, except for private parties.

The business opened in 2009 at 630 State Street.

It’s unclear what led to the restaurant closure. NewsChannel 3 has been told employees were just notified.

Blush served up meals, drinks, and had unique settings for small gatherings around fire lit tables.

Blush has provided this message for those inquiring:

“Do to upcoming business restructuring Blush will no longer be serving the Santa Barbara community as a restaurant and lounge. Although saddened to no longer be serving you in this capacity we are excited by the new ventures we will bring to State Street in the near future. Please note our patio will be available for private events. We thank you for the years of patronage and loyalty you have given us and look forward to seeing you soon.”
