A 17-year-old Oxnard teen was killed in a car accident on Monday evening when police say they found his car crashed into a parked semi-truck trailer.

Oxnard Police say the accident happened along Edison Drive and McWane Boulevard and say the teen may have been speeding.

He is not being identified, but, police say he crashed into the back of the trailer when his Nissan swerved into the right side of the street as he was going north on Edison Road.
