San Miguel gas station robbed at gun point, witnesses sought

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding an armed robbery that occurred early Sunday morning in San Miguel.

At around 6 a.m. Sunday morning, deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at a Chevron gas station at 998 K St.

Witnesses told deputies that a man entered the station, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The man fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 25-30 years old, 6 foot tall and between 180 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black hat and a black bandana covering his face.

Sheriff’s Detectives are also searching for a man and a woman who were inside the station when the incident occurred. Detectives are asking those individuals to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 805-781-4550.

This investigation is ongoing.
