Rising Stars Isla Vista Home Spun Band Iration Top KJEE Summer Roundup

The 12th annual KJEE Summer Roundup brought fans to the Santa Barbara Bowl for a night of new and solidly established bands including Iration from Isla Vista.

Fans arrived Friday at 4 p.m. for what was a six hour evening of music and a rare lineup with so many different acts.

Joining Iration were Fitz and the Tantrums, Wolfmother, Strumbellas, and FMLYBND.

The show included a chance for some fans to go back stage and enjoy a “meet and greet” with some of the musicians. Some of those in the 4500 seat venue were among the most loyal fans bands could have and drove hundreds of miles to see this show.

There were also live interviews on 92.9 KJEE throughout the day with performers.
