SLO Car Accident Claims One Life
The California Highway Patrol has identified 67-year-old William Felix Jr., from Carson City, Nevada, as the driver killed in a car accident on Monday December 1st just north of Prado Road along Highway 101 northbound.
CHP says at about 8:30 a.m., a 2013 white Honda CRV driven by Felix, was traveling northbound on U.S. 101 at an unknown speed when the vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a large tree and freeway perimeter fence.
The left front of the Honda sustained major front end damage as a result of the accident, and a portion of the freeway perimeter fence was knocked down. Felix sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
