Eastside Residents Walk Together

Longtime residents of Santa Barbara’s eastside community walked together to check out new lights along Cacique and Carpinteria streets on Thursday night.

They walk regularly to raise awareness about safety. Organizers said they will be looking for areas where more lights could be installed to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
