Surf Beach Back Open

Surf Beach in Vandenberg will re-open Wednesday October first after being closed since June.

Surf Beach closed because of excessive violations regarding the nests of the Snowy Plover, an endangered bird.

New beach rules have been implemented to protect the Snowy Plover. There will be no beach fires, pets off leash, camping, or kite flying on Surf Beach.
