Earthquake Hits Off Carpinteria Coast
The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 3.0 earthquake struck about four miles south of Carpinteria.
The earthquake was recorded at 10:28 p.m. Friday in Santa Barbara County.
Residents from Summerland to Oak Park area said they felt the quake.
No reports of damage or injuries.
