2014 Latino Business Awards Handed Out in Ventura

The third annual Latino Business Award winners were honored at the Crowne Plaza in Ventura Thursday night.

The event put on by the Pacific Coast Business Times honored people from finance, agriculture, economic development, and other fields.

Anchor Paul Lopez and Henry Dubroff emceed the event.

One winner said his mother grew up in a time when she would never talk about her Latino heritage. Ray Santo-Bowman said he was pleased by the progress.

Reyna Ortega, a winner from Join The Farm in Santa Maria, said her parents would be proud, too.
