Two Funds Set Up to Remember Nick Johnson
Two memorial funds have been established for a local swimmer who died unexpectedly a week ago.
Nick Johnson died in an accidental drowning while he was working out in the Santa Barbara High School pool.
Johnson was a student at UC Santa Barbara, a member of the water polo team, and a graduate of Santa Barbara High.
Funds donated to the memorials at Santa Barbara High and UCSB will help local aquatics programs.
