Lobero Theatre Reopens with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer in a Benefit Show

The landmark Lobero Theatre reopens Friday night with a special benefit show featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Slash from the Guns N’ Roses band.

Slash will be joined by Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band.

Funds will go to the “Notes for Notes” program that raises money for musical education and instruments for under served children interested in music.

The $7-million dollar refurbishing project includes new brick steps at the entrance, a redesigned plaza, new seats, restrooms, and air conditioning.

The Lobero was founded in 1873 and the current theater was built on the Canon Perdido site in 1924 by Jose Lobero.
