Two Men Arrested After Pursuit
Two men are in custody after a short pursuit in Santa Maria. Police attempted a vehicle code violation traffic stop on Broadway and Fesler on Wednesday.
Moises Vazquez and his passenger Ricardo Vazquez failed to stop for the officers. Vazquez lost control of his car and collided into a home on the 800 block of Thorburg Ave.
Authorities said a 5-year-old girl was living in the converted garage of the home with her parents and sustained minor injuries.
The child was treated at Marian Medical Center for her injuries and released.
Both Vazquez’s were booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
