Lompoc Wants to Control Clock Against Chaminade

It’s much tougher to score when you don’t have the football. Lompoc will try and play keep away against Southern California power Chaminade in Friday’s CIF Western Division semifinal game in the San Fernando Valley.

The Braves have one of the top rushing attacks around and if they can control the clock, they feel that they will have a shot to knock off the 13th ranked team in the state.

Chaminade has talented playmakers all over the field including two-way star Donovan Lee and Miami-bound quarterback Brad Kaaya.

Lompoc is 11-1 on the year and will be making it’s fourth consecutive trip to the semifinals. They won CIF titles in 2010 and 2011.
